to my corner of the Internet
In August 2019, I began working at Concordia University Ann Arbor as an Assistant Professor of Communication. I graduated with my PhD from Bowling Green State University on May 4, 2018. My doctoral dissertation focuses on U.S. alternative news media depictions of the Syrian Refugee Crisis. I graduated with my M.A. from the University of Akron in August 2014. My thesis for my Masters program focused on parasocial relationship formation and development, as well as relational development between members of online fan communities.
